Karandá Lodge Guides
- Pablo Chapero
Pablo Chapero grew up in Corrientes Province, where he studied architecture and, for a time, how to be a vet. However, his lifelong passion for angling led him to the Parana River in order to pursue a career in guiding. Pablo knows the upper and middle sections of the Parana inside and out. He also guides at Pira Lodge, in the Ibera Wetlands, and has spent time in the Brazilian Amazon, chasing species such as peacock bass.
Fabian Anastasio has been guiding and scouting for NW for ten years. He lives in La Plata, Buenos Aires, and fly fishing has been his specialty since he was a child. His homewaters include the Upper Parana River, for dorado, pacu, and pira pita, as well as the Ibera Marsh and Corriente River, for dorado. A well-rounded angler, Fabian has also guided in the Bolivian Amazon and in Tierra del Fuego.
